Customer Requirement

Alpega introduced a more results-oriented sales process that includes weekly status updates. Prior to this change, the weekly forecast updates were collected in Excel and had to be prepared manually for the sales calls. In parallel to the regular opportunity updates, sales reps needed a solution to easily update their quarterly forecast and capture and report on the sales team’s progress.

b2+ Implementation

  • b2plus has developed a customized forecasting application in Salesforce. This application includes user-specific total pipeline data and a forecast input field with a default value for the weekly forecast update.
  • Thanks to the new forecast reports, it is no longer necessary to carry out the previous Excel collection and data processing of the weekly records.
  • Implementing the forecasting application has allowed Alpega to reduce the time sales reps typically spend updating their estimates and sales pipelines to prepare for weekly sales meetings.
